I've been offered a gaming PC for £500, and here are the specs: - OS: Windows 11 - Power Supply: Corsair CV650 650W - Motherboard: Asus TUF Gaming B550-Plus - Graphics Card: RTX 3070 8GB - Primary Hard Drive: Samsung 250GB M.2 NVME SSD - Secondary Hard Drive: WS Black 1TB M.2 NVME SSD - CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600 - Cooler: Arctic Liquid Freezer III 240mm Since this will be my first gaming PC (I'm moving over from a PS5), I'm hoping to run games like Battlefield 6 and GTA 6 smoothly, at 1080p and around 60fps. Do you think this setup can handle that without any major issues?

This PC is decent for a mid-range build. You’ll likely get good performance at 1080p, but for newer games, you might need to tweak some settings lower. Two SSDs are a plus, just ensure they're installed correctly to get the best speed.

CuriousNerd24: That makes sense! I definitely want it to perform well without freezing.

Just a note: with two SSDs, you should be fine. But remember that components like the CPU and GPU can limit performance if you’re playing high-demand titles. If you want to keep your rig updated, it's good to know that you can upgrade parts in the future rather than buying a new system entirely.

CuriousNerd24: Great to know I can upgrade! I was worried about it being outdated quickly.

Honestly, you can’t go wrong with that setup! The RTX 3070 and Ryzen 5 5600 are solid for most modern games. You should have no trouble running your games at 1080p with good framerates. Just keep an eye on settings; for some AAA titles, you might want to scale down graphics a bit. Overall, it sounds like a great deal!

CuriousNerd24: Thanks for the reassurance! I really want to enjoy my games without lagging.
