I'm considering purchasing a PC for around $1000 and I'm curious if it's a good deal for playing competitive games at 1080p and AAA games at 4K. Here are the specs: **Processor**: Intel i5 12400F (12 CPUs) **Memory**: 16 GB Dual Channel RAM **Motherboard**: H610M Motherboard **Graphics**: Nvidia RTX 5060 (8 GB) **Storage**: 512 GB M.2 NVMe SSD **Power Supply**: Aigo 650W Bronze

Honestly, Iโ€™d say no. For true 4K gaming with AAA titles, you'd need at least a 5070 Ti or even higher. This rig should handle 1080p competitive games just fine, but 4K is pushing it, maybe a 5060 Ti would do better.

GameOn95: Yeah, I agree! A 5070 or 9070 could work if you're willing to adjust settings with features like FSR 4 or DLSS.

Honestly, I wouldn't pay more than $400-$500 for this build.

PartsFinder99: You can't even assemble that for $500! Where do you find those magical sales on computer parts?

It's decent for competitive games at 1080p. But when it comes to 4K, this setup just wonโ€™t cut it.

I think it's okay for 1080p, but for 4K, it's just too much for this build. Also, the storage is pretty weak for modern gaming.

StorageSeeker: Totally! Plus, 4K monitors can be pricey, so getting a better GPU like the 9060 XT with more storage and sticking to a 1440p monitor might be the way to go.
