Is This Second-Hand 4070s a Good Deal?

I'm thinking about buying a second-hand 4070s from a guy who claims he never used it. He was going to build a PC but changed his mind. The price is $575, but since he lives quite far away, I'm not sure how to verify that it actually works. Any tips?

To be sure the GPU works, ask the seller for recent pictures or videos showing it in action, ideally with timestamps and running benchmarks or games. Also, just a heads up, you might want to reconsider this deal. You could find a new 5070 for around the same price with a little effort, which is a much better option.

BuildingMyPC21: Yeah, I'm gonna see if he can come to my place for testing. I know the 5070s are pricier here in Mรฉxico, around 800+, so I can't easily justify spending more.
