Is This Second-Hand PC Deal Worth It for Gaming?

I'm thinking about upgrading from my laptop to a desktop using my Christmas bonus, and I'm eyeing some second-hand PCs to play games like Witcher 3 and RDR2 at 1440p max settings. I found one for 700 euros that has a Ryzen 7 5800X3D, RX 6700 XT 12GB, 32GB DDR4 RAM, and a 1TB M.2 NVMe SSD. Is this a good deal?

Yeah, that's a decent price for that build! The CPU and RAM alone would usually cost a lot more, so it feels like a steal, especially compared to other listings. Just a heads-up though, the motherboard doesn’t have Wi-Fi or Bluetooth support, but if you have a separate Wi-Fi card, you’re good to go!

I agree, I've seen other builds going for around 1,000 euros, so this one really stands out. Just make sure you can handle the lack of onboard Wi-Fi!

That price is a no-brainer! The CPU and RAM are typically worth around 500-600 euros alone, so getting the rest nearly free is a great catch. Upgrading the GPU later is totally doable, and for now, you’ll be just fine at 1440p, maybe not maxed out, but still high settings will look great.

That's actually a solid deal considering the current market. The 5800X3D and 32GB RAM are fantastic, but the GPU might not be the strongest point. If you’re okay with the game's performance at high settings instead of max, you should be all set for 1440p gaming.

True, and if you plan on upgrading the GPU later, that PSU should handle a 3080 without issues. Perfect for the games you're looking to play!

Honestly, it seems too good to be true. Just make sure to verify everything before purchasing!
