Is this used gaming PC worth $1,000 AUD?

I'm considering buying this second-hand gaming PC for $1,000 AUD and would like to know whether it's fairly priced. The system includes an RTX 3070 Gaming X Trio, Ryzen 5 5600, 32GB of DDR4-3600 memory, a 1TB Samsung 970 Evo Plus SSD, MSI B550 Gaming Plus motherboard, Cooler Master Hyper 212 cooler, Corsair RM750 power supply, and an NZXT H510 case. Is this a good deal, or should I negotiate for a lower price?

Iโd say itโs priced about where it should be. The graphics card might be worth roughly $350โ$400 AUD used, while the CPU, RAM, and motherboard could add another $600โ$700 depending on condition and local listings. That leaves the rest of the components as added value. Itโs not a huge bargain, but itโs definitely not a rip-off.

It looks like a fair deal rather than an exceptional one. The RTX 3070, processor, motherboard, and memory make up most of the value, and the power supply is a solid model. Youโre also getting the case, cooler, and storage included, so $1,000 AUD isnโt unreasonable if the system is in good condition.

Nothing about the listing raises an obvious red flag, assuming the PC works properly and the parts are as advertised. Before buying, check the GPU temperatures, run a quick stress test, confirm the SSDโs health, and make sure the power supply has been treated well. If everything checks out, $1,000 AUD is acceptable, though negotiating slightly lower would be reasonable.
