Is This Used HDD Good Enough for My Modded Wii?

Hey folks, I recently picked up a used HDD and I just want to confirm if it's suitable for my modded Wii to play games. I've done a bit of homework myself, but funds are tight, so I had to go for a second-hand option. According to the seller, it has been used for just 33 hours, but it's an older model. Do you think this HDD will last me for a while, or should I be worried?

Buying a used drive that’s only been powered on for 21 hours does raise some flags. There’s a chance the SMART attributes could be wiped, which means you might be taking a risk without knowing its real health. Just be cautious with such drives, especially if they're coming from a seller who also has other random items for sale.

Looks like you’ve got an internal hard drive there. For your Wii setup, you actually need an external portable drive that connects via USB. I'd recommend looking for something like that instead to ensure compatibility.
