Is Upgrading from a 3060 to a 5060ti Worth It for 2K Gaming?

I'm considering upgrading my graphics card from a 3060 OC 12GB to a 5060ti OC 16GB, especially since I found a decent price of 435€. I currently play at 1080p and I'm wondering if this upgrade will allow me to enjoy 2K gaming effectively. My 3060 usually runs demanding games at around 80fps with medium to high settings. I've heard differing opinions about the 5060ti's performance—some claim it's about 30% better than the 3060, but I suspect that's exaggerated. Would this upgrade actually be worthwhile for gaming at 2K, or should I stick with my current setup for another year or two?

I paid 515€ for an RTX 5070, which I think is worth it for 2K gaming, but it can be a stretch on a budget. If the 5060Ti is your choice, it might be a solid investment, but keep an eye on prices since the RX 9060 XT could be a cheaper alternative.

The 5060Ti is actually about 67% better in raw performance compared to the 3060. You should expect similar performance at 1440p as what your 3060 offers at 1080p. Plus, with DLSS and MFG features, you can squeeze even more out of it. The 5060Ti will perform excellently at 1080p, and you might find it runs well at 2K too, especially with DLSS 4.5 in ultra performance mode.

I made the same upgrade, and it's been great! However, prices can vary a lot, so I'm not sure if 435€ is a good deal. I got mine for 340€. After upgrading, my FPS nearly doubled on most games, going from around 60fps at 1440p with medium settings to about 110fps on high settings in BF6.
