I'm considering upgrading my CPU from a 5800X3D to a 9850X3D as part of a Micro Center bundle deal. I'm planning to stick with a mini ITX build and reuse most of my components, including the Noctua NH-D15 cooler. My main goal is to sell my current CPU, motherboard, and RAM to offset the cost of this upgrade, especially since 5800X3D prices have risen lately. I'm also looking to swap the included ATX motherboard for a Gigabyte ITX board if possible, otherwise, I'll buy it separately and sell the ATX board to recover some funds. Before I go ahead, are there any issues I should be aware of?

That motherboard uses the Realtek ALC4080 audio chipset, which I found to be problematic with my setup. The audio quality was pretty rough. Keep that in mind if audio is important to you!
If you're thinking about saving some cash, the 9800X3D is around $20 cheaper. If that’s a deal for you, might be worth the switch!
The price difference isn’t huge for me, but do you think the 9800X3D is significantly better?
Honestly, if you can, consider going for a B650E instead. It supports PCIe 5.0, making it a more future-proof choice if you're planning on upgrading further down the road.
Make sure to check if the cooler fits in your case! The NH-D15 is great, but it’s also quite large. You don't want any surprises during installation!
