I've been saving up to upgrade my PC and I'm debating whether to go for the RX 6600 XT or something even higher. My current specs are an i7 9700, a Palit GTX 1650, and a Thermaltake 550W power supply. Is this upgrade worth it, and will it be enough for modern gaming?

The RX 6600 is already getting a bit old, being out for around 4 years. If you're considering it, make sure you check the price. If you can find it for a good deal, go for it! You’ll see over 100% improvement and more VRAM too.
Yes, the RX 6600 XT definitely brings a significant boost, more than double the performance in rasterization compared to the GTX 1650. It's a solid choice if you're looking to upgrade your gaming experience.
Absolutely, but it depends on what you're looking to play. The 6600 XT can handle AAA games, but at 1080p medium settings. It'll run eSports titles smoothly at 1440p or decent settings, so it's a good step up from the 1650.
Or how about a 3060 with 12GB? That could be another option!
If you can, consider getting the 6650 XT. Prices are similar, and it’s a great option. Just make sure whatever you get has 16GB of VRAM, but for your PSU, the 6650 or 6600 XT might be your best bet.
Yeah, I'll stick to the 6650 or 6600 XT given my PSU limitations.

But with a 550W PSU, can you really push much higher than the 6600 XT?
