Hey everyone! I have an RTX 4070 and I'm considering upgrading to an RTX 5070. Do you think that's necessary, or are there other components I should be looking to upgrade as well? Appreciate any advice!

If you're looking for a worthwhile upgrade, I'd suggest the 5070 Ti or 9070 XT. The 4070 is already a solid choice, especially if you game at 1440P. Just make sure to use the game optimization settings to get the best visuals without stressing about reaching a specific graphical level. If you’re facing issues, it might be more about your CPU or gaming resolution rather than the GPU.
Before you decide, what CPU do you have and what resolution do you usually game at? Also, do you feel like your current setup is running poorly? If everything's smooth, you might not need to upgrade.
Honestly, the performance jump from the 4070 to the 5070 is pretty minimal—like around 11%. For instance, if your game runs at 60 fps now, you'll only get about 66 fps with the 5070. If your current setup is already performing well, you might not notice that much difference. You could also look into getting a 5070 Ti or a 9070 XT instead for a more significant upgrade.
The RTX 5070 isn’t a huge upgrade over the 4070. Unless you start noticing that your system is bottlenecking after you install the new GPU, I don’t think you’ll need to upgrade anything else right away. Just keep an eye on performance after the switch!

Thanks! I'm new to all this, so I wasn't sure how to gauge performance.
