Is Upgrading from Ryzen 5 3600 to Ryzen 7 5700X3D Worth It for Gaming?

I'm considering an upgrade from my Ryzen 5 3600 to the Ryzen 7 5700X3D. I've seen some mixed opinions online, especially from benchmarks on UserBenchmark, which I've heard is not very reliable. I'm mostly focused on gaming performance at 1440p; as long as the 5700X3D performs at least as well as the 3600 for general tasks, I'd be happy. I'm hesitant about moving to AM5 if I can avoid it, and the 5800X3D seems impossible to find right now. What kind of performance boost can I realistically expect from this upgrade?
