Is Upgrading My PC Worth It?

I've had my PC for about 5 years now, and I'm still using the same components. Currently, I have a Ryzen 5 3500 CPU, a GTX 1650 Super GPU, and a B450M Plus motherboard. Despite the low graphics and frame drops, I've managed to play a lot of graphic-heavy games. However, I'm finally ready to make some upgrades. I'm thinking of getting either a Ryzen 5 3600 or a Ryzen 5 5500 for the CPU, and the most affordable GPU I found is the RTX 5060 with 8GB of VRAM. Is this CPU upgrade reasonable, and will these components allow me to play games with at least medium settings?

Honestly, I wouldn't upgrade to the Ryzen 5 3600 unless you can go for a Ryzen 5 5600; it's a better value these days. As for the GPU, the RTX 5060 should work well for medium settings, but if you can stretch your budget a bit, see if the RX 9060 XT 8GB is available. That could give you better performance for a little more cash.

Is the 8GB VRAM really that important? I usually don't play on ultra settings, so medium or high is fine for me. Plus, the 5060 is the best I can afford right now.
