Is Upgrading to a New GPU Worth It for My PC?

I'm currently using an i7 9700k and an RTX 2060 in a prebuilt system, which I bought during the lockdown. Lately, it's starting to struggle with newer games. I recently scored a 7800x3d for $250 and I'm considering upgrading to either a 9070xt or a 5070ti. How much of a performance boost can I expect from these upgrades? Will either option keep me competitive for the next few years?

If you’re gaming at 1080p, your current setup is still decent, but you’ll get much better performance at 1440p. That RTX 2060 struggles beyond 1080p due to its lower VRAM. The 7800X3D is a beast, and pairing it with a 5070ti will keep your rig solid for 3-4 more GPU generations!

You’re looking at roughly a 330% increase in performance with either the 9070xt or 5070ti. So yes, these GPUs should last you a while. Great options!
