I've been thinking about ways to enhance the conductivity of the 12VHPWR cable for my graphics card. Would applying a small amount of conductive grease to the pins be helpful? I found a product (MG Chemicals 8463A) that's highly conductive and known for preventing poor connections and oxidation. Would it be effective if applied carefully to the load pins on both sides of the cable?

I really wouldn't put anything in the pins. The connector itself has enough issues as it is. Plus, if anything goes wrong, it could void your warranty with the GPU or PSU since you’d be tampering with it.
Honestly, I wouldn't do this at all. Just leave it as is and don't risk it.
The overheating issues you mentioned are due to some manufacturers not sticking to specs, so it's better to leave it as is.
Back in the day, we used a product called Stabilent 22A on molex connectors, which worked wonders for preventing burning. When I get a GPU with this new connector, I might just try it out too.
