Is Using USB Drives a Good Way to Store Concert Photos and Videos?

I've been going to a lot of concerts and taking tons of photos and videos, which have pretty much filled up my phone's storage. I already have iCloud for backups, but I'm looking for additional options to keep my media safe. I've been considering USB drives for long-term storage but keep hearing mixed opinions on their reliability. Can anyone share their thoughts on whether USBs are a solid choice for this?

USB drives can work for backup, but keep in mind the potential for data loss. Having backups is key! I'd also recommend options like external SSDs—they connect via USB and can hold a lot more data without the same risk of damage as standard USBs.

You can definitely use USB drives to store your concert footage, but just remember they can be prone to corruption and are fragile.
