I recently updated to the newest game ready driver from Nvidia, and now the RGB lighting on my RTX 5080 Astral graphics card has stopped working. I discovered that Armoury Crate no longer recognizes the card, which is likely the reason why the lighting is off. My graphics card is still functioning normally otherwise, but I really want to get the lighting back. Should I wait for an Armoury Crate update or the next driver version, or is there a quicker fix for this?

It sounds like this could be a driver issue. I recommend using DDU to cleanly uninstall the current driver and then install the last one you knew was stable. Sometimes rolling back can solve these kinds of problems.
I've heard plenty of horror stories about Armoury Crate. Might be a good idea to uninstall it. It can cause issues sometimes, but I get that relying on other software for RGB can be tricky.
True! I've never had much trouble with it until now. Unfortunately, other programs haven't given me the same effects that Armoury Crate had, so it'd be a bit of a hassle switching.
Man, Nvidia's updates can be hit or miss. You might want to consider DDU for a fresh start with an earlier driver. I've experienced similar issues, and it’s usually better to go back than deal with these bugs.
Yeah, I get that! I've heard worse nightmare stories from others, but it's still really annoying that RGB can stop working. Hopefully, they sort this stuff out quickly.

Definitely! I consider going back to an older version too. It’s frustrating when new updates cause issues, but I hope this doesn't leave you stuck with an outdated driver.
