I'm having trouble getting XMP I and EXPO to work on my new system. I have a Gigabyte A620M DS3H motherboard paired with a Ryzen 5 8400F. Despite trying various settings, both XMP and EXPO cause the system to go black screen after 5-15 minutes with no other signs of life. My RAM is 32GB (2x16GB) GOODRAM 6400MHz CL32 IRDM BLACK V SILVER, but it only runs at 3600MHz currently. I'm unsure if I can push it to 6400MHz without issues and just want to know what could be causing the problem.

You might want to try setting the RAM speed manually. Remember, your processor has a max RAM speed of 5200MHz, so anything above that might lead to problems. It seems like 5200 would work just fine for you!
Have you checked your motherboard's Qualified Vendor List (QVL)? Since you're using an off-brand RAM, it might not be officially supported. Plus, the Ryzen 5 8400F isn't the best with RAM speeds—it only officially supports up to 5200 MT/s. It sounds frustrating, but sometimes going for a DDR5-5200 kit that's on the QVL is the safest bet.

So, sticking with 5200MHz is my best option?
