I'm a first-year BCA student and have just completed my introductory coursework in Python. I've also finished learning C. I'm interested in moving toward machine learning, so what should I study next, and which skills or topics should I focus on first?

Start by strengthening your Python through small projects rather than moving straight to another language. For machine learning, learn NumPy, pandas, data visualization with Matplotlib or Seaborn, and the basics of statistics and linear algebra. After that, work through beginner projects with scikit-learn. A structured roadmap can help you see the usual progression, but treat it as a guide rather than a checklist.
