Hey everyone! I was gaming when my cat decided to take a nap on the arrow keys of my 60% keyboard. Ever since then, I can't use the Windows+L shortcut to lock my screen, and Ctrl+Alt+Del isn't working either, although the LinkedIn shortcut does. I tried following a guide to make my computer require Ctrl+Alt+Del to unlock it, but now that doesn't work either, so I'm completely locked out. I haven't found anything mentioning a 'gamer mode' for my keyboard, so I'm really at a loss for what happened. I'm on Windows 11, and I'm considering getting another keyboard tomorrow to see if that solves the issue. If anyone has any ideas, I would really appreciate it! Thanks in advance!

First off, try unplugging and replugging your keyboard. Sometimes a simple reconnect can fix issues like this. Look up the model of your keyboard to check its manual for any special lockout features, and give it a gentle shake to see if anything rattles inside. If you have a spare keyboard, connect that to see if it’s a Windows setting or a hardware problem.
Also, make sure you check things like the keyboard settings in Windows. Sometimes settings can change unexpectedly, especially if you're using specialized software. If you get a new keyboard, just plug that in and see if everything works normally.
Have you tried restarting your computer yet? It might sound like a cliché solution, but sometimes a fresh boot can solve lots of weird issues. If that doesn't help, switching keyboards might be the best next step to rule out hardware faults.
