Laptop Connects to One Deco Router but Not the Main Unit

I have two Deco routers: one is the main unit and the other works as an extender. My phone connects to either one normally, but my laptop only connects through the secondary Deco. The laptop can see the main network, but connection attempts fail. I also powered off the secondary Deco, reinstalled the laptop's Wi-Fi adapter, and disabled and re-enabled it, but nothing changed. What should I check next?

Check the network configuration on both Deco units, especially their DHCP settings. When the laptop connects to the secondary unit, note its IP address, gateway, and DNS information. Comparing that with another device—or with the expected settings for the main unit—may show where the connection is failing.

Try completely power-cycling the secondary Deco: unplug it, wait about ten seconds, and plug it back in. After it finishes starting up, restart the laptop and test the main unit again. If that does not help, restarting the main Deco as well may be worth trying.

More information would help narrow this down. Please provide the exact Deco model numbers, whether both units are the same model, and whether other devices can connect to the main unit. It would also be useful to run the built-in Windows network troubleshooter on the laptop.
