Whenever I start my laptop and press Space or click to reach the password screen, it gets stuck showing several Microsoft icons on the left and an endless loading indicator on the right. No on-screen controls respond, and I can't open the recovery or advanced-support options. The screen and lid are damaged, and I also can't find a visible power button on the startup screen. How can I shut it down or get past this loading screen?

A screenshot or photo of the exact screen would help identify whether this is the normal sign-in screen or a recovery process. Since the on-screen controls aren’t responding, try holding the laptop’s physical power button for about 10 seconds to force it off, then start it again. If the built-in display is damaged, connecting an external monitor and keyboard may make the recovery options easier to use.
