My Lenovo laptop's built-in left arrow key suddenly stopped working normally while I was playing a game. The key only registers when I hold Shift first, and now it behaves the same way outside the game. The game's controls are configured correctly, and the other keys seem fine. I've checked Sticky Keys, Toggle Keys, and Filter Keys, switched Function Lock on and off, reviewed keyboard accessibility settings, run the system file checker command, and restarted the laptop several times, but nothing has helped. This started without any obvious trigger. What could cause this, and how can I fix or diagnose it?

A restart was suggested as a basic troubleshooting step, but you’ve already rebooted several times, so that doesn’t appear to resolve the issue.

I’ve restarted the computer several times, including after trying the other suggested fixes, and the left arrow key still only works after pressing Shift.
