My Lenovo Legion 10 developed a serious charging problem. At first, the charger only worked if I angled the metal tip in a certain direction, but now it doesn't seem to charge at all. I've included pictures of the charging port for reference. The laptop is just under a year old and is still under warranty. What should I check, and would this likely be covered by the manufacturer? I need it for school, so any straightforward advice would be really appreciated.

The charging port or its internal connection is probably damaged. Needing to hold or angle the plug is a common sign of a loose or worn port, and repeatedly forcing it can make the damage worse. Since the laptop is less than a year old, don’t try to open or solder it yourself—contact Lenovo or the retailer and request a warranty repair. Until then, avoid using the charger if the connector gets hot, sparks, or smells unusual.
