I have an old Nvidia laptop that requires the 340 drivers. I'm searching for a Linux distribution that can support these drivers and is also beginner-friendly. Any recommendations?

You can find a 340 driver package in the AUR. However, keep in mind that with such an old laptop, you might want to consider using it as a server instead or just go with Nouveau. The performance from a 17-year-old GPU isn't going to be great, plus the old proprietary drivers can be quite tricky to deal with.

I’ve already installed Windows, and I’m not switching back until I get a better laptop.
