I'm interested in trying out Linux, but I need a distribution that takes up less than 10GB. My current Windows setup doesn't allow me to create a larger partition on my SSD. Any recommendations?

AntiX is another great small distro with several apps pre-installed. I used it on an old netbook, and it ran surprisingly well! You might enjoy that on your SSD too.

I remember using AntiX on my old EEEPC. It worked great! That little netbook is collecting dust now, but I still have AntiX installed on it.

You can create a partition from a Linux LiveUSB. Most of them come with tools to help you modify your partitions without the limits imposed by Windows. It could be worth a shot!

Ok, I'll try that 🙂

Tiny Core Linux is an excellent option; it’s just a few hundred MB for the full install! If you're trying to resize your Windows partition directly, it might be tricky due to file locks. Using GParted from a LiveUSB could be a more effective way to manage partitions. Don’t forget to back up your data just in case!
