I'm really concerned about privacy with all the surveillance happening these days. I'm on the hunt for a modular phone that allows me to easily add or remove components like the camera or microphone. My ideal choice would be an Android device that supports GrapheneOS and lets me take out a micro SD card whenever I want. Basically, I'm after something similar to a hot swap keyboard where I can control my privacy in real time.

A removable mic module would definitely enhance privacy for those concerned. There are phones with pop-up cameras already, which is a step in that direction. But honestly, a removable mic should be better than just muting it.
