Hey everyone! I'm currently playing CS1.6 and I really want a motherboard that includes a PS/2 socket so I can use my keyboard to its full potential. I'm running an i7 12700K processor, an 8GB 3070 GPU, and I have 32GB of Corsair Vengeance RAM, powered by an 800W PSU. Any recommendations for motherboards that would fit these specs?

You might want to consider just getting an adapter. It could save you some money and still let you connect your keyboard. PS/2 has some benefits, but in many cases, USB works just as well nowadays.
There are a few motherboards I've tested that support PS/2 on LGA1700, though they usually come as combo ports rather than dedicated ones. Check out these models:
- ASUS Prime Z690/Z790
- ASUS Z790 Gaming Wifi7
- ASRock Z790-CW
- MSI Pro Z690/Z790
Just a heads-up, keep in mind that modern USB keyboards can also provide full N-key rollover (NKRO), so it's not a huge issue if you decide to go that route.
I had a great experience going with a USB keyboard in competitive play. The advantage of PS/2 isn't as strong as it used to be, but it's nice for nostalgia!

I get that, but you can't really get the full anti-ghosting effect with just an adapter. PS/2 is still preferred by some for its performance benefits.
