Hey everyone! I'm new to the DevOps field and I've heard about roadmap.sh, but it didn't quite meet my needs. I'm wondering if anyone here can share a personalized learning path they would recommend if they were starting their DevOps journey today. Also, if you could suggest any resources, videos, or tools to help a beginner like me, I'd really appreciate it!

Here's what I did to build my DevOps skills:
1. Started with Linux (got my RHCSA certification).
2. Chose AWS and earned my SAA certification.
3. Set up a CI/CD pipeline using Terraform to deploy a simple web app that just says 'Hello World' and made it accessible via application load balancers.
4. Took it up a notch by incorporating EKS with different pods and a database layer.
This approach gave me hands-on experience and a solid foundation!
I find that roadmap.sh is pretty popular, but it’s essential to know exactly what didn't help you. Maybe share what you found confusing or lacking? It could really guide us in helping you more effectively!
Totally agree! The more context you provide, the better tailored the advice can be. It can feel overwhelming, so pinpointing your struggles could be key.
You might want to check out prepare.sh. It offers a roadmap feature that could be really useful for your journey!

Did you land a job with that experience? That sounds like a killer way to get your foot in the door!
