I'm in search of a DNS provider based in the EU or UK that offers API access. We have a total of four domains, and our current provider is charging an outrageous fee to enable the API. Any recommendations?

If you're looking to go with a Swiss provider, Opsone and Infomaniak are solid options. They both offer good domain services and could have what you need.

I recommend ClouDNS, also based in Bulgaria. I've used it for several domains, and they offer features like GeoDNS. I'm not sure if the API is included in the free account, but it's definitely available in the paid ones.

You might want to check out Gandi. I haven't used it myself, but I've heard mixed reviews. Just be aware that there were reports about steep price increases this year, so keep that in mind.

Check out Bunny.net or TransIP as well. They are both reputable providers, but make sure to verify their API access.

I've been using Cloudns.net for the past five years, and I've never had any issues. It's based in Bulgaria, and they come highly recommended for their service and reliability.
