I'm aiming to build my first gaming PC with a budget of £600 but I'm not entirely sure about the best components to get for running games like Fortnite. I'm open to buying second-hand parts if building it myself is the way to go, or should I just go for a prebuilt PC? I want to make sure I don't regret my choices with this first build.

You might find it challenging to stay within that £600 budget for a new build, especially since RAM prices are pretty high right now. It could be a better option to look for a used full system instead. You might score a solid deal with something like a Ryzen 5000 series CPU and an RTX 2070 or similar GPU for that price, which could run Fortnite quite well.

I could bump my budget to about £700 if it means getting better value. Any recommendations?
