Looking for Advice on My First PC Build

Hey everyone! I'm diving into my first PC build and I could use some help. I've got a solid gaming setup already, having spent about $800 on a prebuilt system, but now I'm ready to create something from scratch with a budget of around $2-3k. I'm not after 4K ultra graphics, but I'd love to have high FPS and decent graphics for games like Marvel Rivals, Apex Legends, Arc Raiders, and other trending or single-player titles. I'd also like the build to look good! Any recommendations on parts or even a complete build would be amazing, and if you're feeling generous, I'd love to see your dream PC setup too. Thanks in advance!

Do you live near a Micro Center? They often have great deals that can save you quite a bit, especially on RAM. If that’s not an option, ordering online will work too! Also, just a heads up, does your budget include a monitor? It’s worth getting a good one, like a 1440p 240Hz if you can swing it.

Yeah, I can check out a nice monitor! Unfortunately, the closest Micro Center is quite a distance away. I've got an Acer 180Hz monitor already but was hoping for a better second one.

With your budget, you can aim for some pretty powerful components. Here’s a build that might fit your needs for around $2500. Check it out: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/nwd7h9. If you've tested games with it, let me know how they perform!

Thanks for the link! Did you benchmark this build at all? How does it run on current games?

Also, would adding more RAM really boost performance? I'm curious about how that works.
