Hi everyone! I'm gearing up to create my first PC and would really appreciate your advice. As a university student about to graduate, I'm hoping to stick to a budget of around CAD 1200, with a maximum of CAD 1500 if necessary. Ideally, I'd like to keep it closer to $1000, but I know RAM prices are a bit tough right now.
My intended uses for this PC include running applications like SOLIDWORKS and a bit of programming, but mostly I'll be gaming with titles like Valorant, Minecraft, and Stardew Valley. I'm also interested in playing more demanding games, such as Detroit Become Human.
I already have a monitor that I'll be using (Dell 27" Curved Gaming Monitor), so I'll just need the tower and components.
Here are some quick points about what I'm looking for:
1. New Build or Upgrade? - New Build
2. Monitor? - I have one
3. Purchase Country? - Canada
4. Usage? - Gaming + Programming
5. Connection Type? - WiFi preferred
6. Color Preference? - Doesn't matter
Thanks in advance for any tips or recommendations!

Great to see you're asking for help before diving in! For your first build, it's crucial to choose your CPU and GPU first because they define your performance and often take up most of your budget. Don't skimp on the power supply and motherboard since you might want to upgrade in the future. Building a PC can seem daunting, but it’s more about following steps and plugging things in properly - kind of like a puzzle, but cooler! Feel free to share your parts list for more tailored advice.

Thanks for the tips! I’ll definitely keep those in mind.
