Looking for Advice on My PC Build

I'm working with a budget of around €3000 to €4000, but I can stretch it a bit if needed. My main goal is to maximize performance. Aesthetics don't matter to me. Here's what I've got so far:

- **CPU**: AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D 4.7 GHz 8-Core Processor
- **CPU Cooler**: Lian Li Hydroshift LCD 360 ARGB
- **Motherboard**: Gigabyte X870 GAMING X WIFI7 ATX AM5 Motherboard
- **RAM**: Crucial Pro CP2K16G60C36U5B DDR5 RAM Kit (2x16GB) 6000MHz CL36
- **Storage**: WD Blue® SN5000 NVMe™ SSD 4 TB M.2 2280 PCIe 4.0
- **GPU**: MSI - VENTUS GeForce RTX5080 16G 3X OC
- **Case**: Lian Li O11 Vision Compact, E-ATX
- **Power Supply**: be quiet! Pure Power 12 M 1000 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply

I'm specifically looking for advice on cooling solutions. How many case fans should I have, and which ones do you recommend? Also, what's the best thermal paste out there?

Where are you located? If you’re in Germany, you might be able to get an awesome build with a 5090 for the same price!

I'm in France, but I've thought about that 5090!

The RAM market is pretty messy right now, but if you can find RAM with CL30 latency, it might give you better performance for gaming compared to your current setup. Just a thought!

I didn’t realize there was a difference in latency, thanks for the tip!

Your build looks solid! I’ve heard that the MSI Ventus line tends to run hotter and noisier compared to their higher-tier Gaming X series. If you're open to upgrades, you might want to consider one of those. They do tend to perform better and stay cooler!

True! If you're considering upgrading to the 5090, just check if the performance gains are worth the price tag. Sometimes the jump isn’t huge compared to what you already have.
