Looking for Advice on My PC Upgrade Choices

Hey everyone! I'm planning to upgrade my PC and could really use some help figuring out the best choices within my budget. I'm also replacing my wife's old laptop at the same time, so funds are tight. Here's a list of the components I'm considering:

- **CPU**: AMD Ryzen 5 9600X 3.9 GHz (around €199)
- **CPU Cooler**: Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE (around €49.85)
- **Motherboard**: Gigabyte B850 EAGLE WIFI6E ATX AM5 (around €175)
- **Memory**: Kingston FURY Beast 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR5-6000 (around €259)
- **Video Card**: MSI VENTUS 2X OC GeForce RTX 5070 (around €589)
- **Power Supply**: Corsair RM750e (750W, around €84.90)

The total comes to about €1356.75. I've been loyal to Megekko for my purchases, and I'm planning to reuse my old SSD for this build. I mainly game at 1080p and am worried the RTX 5070 might be overkill, but I want it to last before my next upgrade. I also dabble in some game development using Unreal and Unity, so any insights would be really appreciated!

You might want to consider some cost savings; the Ryzen 7500F is available for a good price in your area. You could swap it for a more budget-friendly motherboard too, which could free up funds for 32GB of RAM if you want that. Alternatively, the 9070XT usually offers better performance for around €100 more than the 5070. You can check it out [here](https://nl.pcpartpicker.com/list/qM7gJw). Just remember to get a case if you don’t have one!

That’s an interesting point! The cheaper board only supports PCIe 4, which might limit newer GPUs. I see some good alternatives if I adjust my preferences, especially for a m-ATX layout. What do you recommend between the 32GB of RAM and the 9070XT? I do have a case, not the best but it’ll do. Thanks for your advice!
