When picking a motherboard, it mainly comes down to chipset and power delivery. If you're looking for features like USB 4, Wi-Fi 7, and plenty of PCIe lanes for M.2 drives, go for a premium X870 chipset. But if you're just connecting a GPU and a couple of drives, a B850 will do just fine. The Ryzen 7800X3D has low power requirements, so as long as the board has decent VRM cooling, you should be good. Just check reviews for specific models before buying to avoid any issues!
