Looking for Affordable Parts for a First-Time Gaming PC Build

Hey everyone! I'm getting into building a gaming PC with my brother, who's new to this whole thing. It's been a while since I've built a PC myself, so I could really use some help. We've already got a cooling system, two Viper 2x16GB RAM sticks, and a MSI motherboard, plus a tower. We're definitely in need of a new graphics card, and we might also need a good hard drive and possibly a new motherboard since the current one has some bent pins. Any suggestions for parts or upgrades we can look into?

Cool, with a 550W power supply, you're suited for a basic gaming setup, but you'll want to keep things balanced. What's your budget for the graphics card? That'll help narrow down your options for what you can get.

First off, it would help a lot if you could share the exact models of your current components. That way, we can suggest upgrades that fit well with what you have.

Alright, I got the list from my brother! Here’s what we have:
- Motherboard: MSI Tomahawk Arctic (it's older and has some bent pins, so an upgrade might be necessary)
- Power Supply: Corsair CX550M
- RAM: Viper 2x16GB (again, we have two of these)

We're trying to keep costs low since it's his first PC, but we still need recommendations for any additional parts.
