Looking for Alternatives to ScreenConnect for Remote Access

Our company, which has about 90 users, started using ScreenConnect for remote access right before the pandemic. It's been a simple and cost-effective solution, but recently we've been experiencing performance issues, especially with Windows 11 machines that sometimes lead to a black screen after users log in. We're considering alternatives until we can upgrade our firewalls next year and implement a VPN. What other software options could we explore that are similar to ScreenConnect?

I think it really depends on your specific needs. I've had a solid experience with ScreenConnect without issues, but I get your frustration with the slowness. Are you using the on-premise or cloud version? Also, you might want to consider if a VPN could enhance your security. Zero Trust solutions like Zscaler are great if you haven't looked into them yet.

If you're using Remotely for your servers, that might also be a good choice for clients. It's compatible with Linux, Windows, and MacOS, which could cover your needs across different platforms.

You might want to check out Action1; I've heard it’s a great fit for organizations and comes at no cost, which is a plus.

We switched to Splashtop from TeamViewer and have been pretty happy with it. It's fast and reliable for remote support, so it might be worth a look!

I tried BeyondTrust Remote Support and found it very user-friendly. They offer a quick trial, and while it might be a bit pricier than some competitors, like ScreenMeet, it’s got good features. You could also look at ScreenMeet as a direct transition from ScreenConnect since many tools seem to share similar functionalities.
