I'm just starting out and I need some recommendations for beginner-friendly and interactive resources to learn TypeScript and React. A lot of what I find seems aimed at people who already have some background knowledge, mostly involving passive reading. I wouldn't mind watching some videos either! Any tips or recommendations would be really appreciated!

If you're open to paid options, I highly recommend Josh Comeau's "Joy of React" course; he's a fantastic teacher and makes the learning process enjoyable. If you want something free, give TypeScript Hero a shot and play around with their Learning section. You can even try using AI tools like ChatGPT to create projects tailored to what you want to learn! Also, freeCodeCamp is great for hands-on lessons with a mix of reading and coding.

If you prefer not to go the YouTube route, take a look at Udemy! I've found that Academind has some excellent beginner courses there. They're very approachable and cover all the essential topics to get you started.

The official TypeScript handbook is quite good, even if it feels like all reading. It's well-structured and provides a solid understanding of the basics. For React, Scrimba is a great platform that offers interactive, project-based courses. You might also want to check out the React TypeScript Cheat Sheet once you have some basics down.

For TypeScript, I suggest trying Scrimba's beginner course — it's interactive and great for hands-on learning. After that, dive into the official TypeScript handbook; it’s well-written and covers all the essential concepts. For React, definitely check out the React documentation. They have an awesome tutorial section that’s really helpful if you code along with it.
