I'm in the process of moving into a newly built house and I'm about to build a high-end PC, but I've recently found myself on a budget due to all the expenses involved. I'm searching for a nice 1440p monitor that isn't one of the super expensive ones like the ASUS models. I want to know if there's a significant difference between high-end and lower-end 1440p monitors, or if I should just splurge on a top-tier model now instead. Also, keep in mind that I'm in Japan, so some recommendations might not be available for me.

Honestly, ASUS is hit or miss. If you’re looking for a decent monitor without breaking the bank, I recommend the MSI G272QPF E2. The only downside is it doesn’t have USB ports, but it’s pretty solid for the price!

Exactly! I'm eyeing some high-end monitors too, like the MSI 360Hz QD OLED and the Asus 480Hz. But it makes you wonder if those extra features are really necessary for 1440p, right?
