Looking for Budget-Friendly PC Build Tips

Hey folks! I'm a total beginner when it comes to PCs. I owned a gaming laptop in the past, but it's starting to lag now. I'm interested in building my own PC, but I have no experience or knowledge in this area. I usually play games like Fortnite, Sims 4, and Minecraft (with lots of mods), and I also enjoy some indie games. I'm aiming for a budget between $500 and $800, and my main priorities are that the games run smoothly and I have enough storage space—I struggled with limited space on my laptop. If you have any suggestions for parts or builds, I'd really appreciate it!

Honestly, you might want to consider just buying a pre-built one. It could save you time and hassle.

I thought about it, but I like the idea of customizing my PC, plus isn’t it usually cheaper to build your own?

I recommend trying to fit the RX 9060 XT with 16GB into your budget if you can. That’s a solid GPU! If it’s too pricey, the 9060 XT with 8GB or the 5060 are slightly cheaper alternatives that still perform well. Just steer clear of the 5050, it's not worth it.

Definitely focus your build around the GPU since it’s the most crucial part for gaming.

Thanks! I’ll definitely check those out!

Building a PC is pretty straightforward; it’s mainly about putting the parts together carefully. The tricky part can be getting Windows installed, so just keep that in mind.
