Looking for Feedback on My $3000 AUD PC Build with Ryzen and Nvidia

Hey everyone! I'm putting together a custom PC build and would love some advice from those more knowledgeable about hardware. I'm not a hardware expert and I only understand the basics, so I'm reaching out for your insights.

Here's what I need my PC for:
- Software development (working with multiple languages, builds, Docker, and VMs)
- Robotics-related tasks (including simulations and CPU/GPU workload)
- AI/ML experimentation (focusing on local training, inference, and learning)

All these tasks are equally important to me.

I have a budget of around $3000 AUD and I prefer an AMD Ryzen CPU paired with an Nvidia GPU, that part is non-negotiable.

I'll be running Linux, and my main priorities are stability, thermals, and long-term usability rather than gaming or flashy RGB setups. I also plan to upgrade components like RAM and GPU in the future, just not all at once.

Could you please suggest parts and provide feedback? A rating from 1 to 10 for each major component would be great. Here's a format you could follow:
- CPU: X/10 – why
- Motherboard: X/10 – why
- RAM: X/10 – why
- GPU: X/10 – why
- Cooling: X/10 – why
- Overall build: X/10

I'm open to all critiques and suggestions. I'm trying to learn, not argue. Thanks a lot for your help!

I’m curious why you’re sticking to Ryzen only. VMs can really drain RAM, so some might argue Intel could offer better multi-threading. Have you looked into that?

Could you share the specific parts you’re considering? It’ll help us give you a proper rating. Without that, it’s hard to provide meaningful feedback.

I think sticking with Ryzen is a solid choice because, based on what I've read, even if Intel has more cores, they might not perform as well in tasks that require heavy lifting as Ryzen does. Plus, it’s more power-efficient!
