I'm working at a small company, and we currently use Excel to track our devices and software. It's proving to be quite frustrating, and I'm worried that I might lose track of devices or software keys because Excel isn't always updated. I'm on the lookout for any free software that does a good job of managing device and software tracking. Has anyone had experience with options like Spiceworks or OCS Inventory?

Have you considered trying Snipe-IT? It's quite popular for asset management and has a free version that covers a lot of features. Definitely worth checking out!

Is the free version good enough for small companies?
