Looking for GPU Upgrade Advice for a New Build

I'm currently using an RTX 2060 for my gaming setup, but I'm feeling it's time for an upgrade. I'm not very savvy with PCs, so I'm reaching out for your recommendations. I aim to play newer titles like ARC Raiders, but I'm only getting 40-60 fps even on the lowest settings and with upscaling set to ultra performance. I've noticed that even Valorant has been lagging, dropping from about 280-290 fps on low settings to around 200 now.
I've been suggested the 5060 Ti, 7800 XT, and 9060 XT. I'd really appreciate your thoughts on these options or if there's a better GPU in a similar price range. My budget is around £550, as I'm planning to build a new rig. Happy to share my build for more context if needed!

You might want to consider the 9070 XT seriously. It’s a more noticeable upgrade compared to the other cards you're looking at. I've heard that while NVIDIA has some advantages in upscaling tech, the AMD cards are catching up. If you're targeting 100 fps in ARC Raiders and 300 fps in Valorant, the 9070 XT should do the trick, especially for that price range. Just remember, benchmarks for specific games can really help gauge what’s best for your needs!

I'd recommend the 9070 XT if you can find it for around £550; it's a solid choice out of your list. If that's a bit high, the non-XT version might fit well for your budget. Both of these cards will handle 1440p gaming really well, and the XT version can even manage 4K. I’d steer clear of the 5060 Ti since it doesn’t offer much more performance than the cheaper 9060 XT. Go for the AMD cards for the best value if you're not specifically needing NVIDIA for work-related tasks.
