Looking for Help in Choosing a Gaming PC

Hey everyone! I'm looking for some advice on building a gaming PC as my friend plays on PC, and I'm primarily a PS5 user. I've been browsing the PC market, but I'm feeling a bit lost. My budget is between $1000 and $1300, and I could stretch it to $1500 if it's really worth it. I'm based in the USA and I want a PC that can handle 1080p gaming with smooth frame rates, ideally at high FPS, but nothing too over the top. The games I'll be playing include Valorant, CS2, Mortal Kombat, and some first-person war games. Any suggestions on what I should get? Thanks in advance for your help!

You don’t need a super expensive setup to run those games well. With your budget, you can easily build something that gives you great FPS. I'm sure others will chime in with solid build suggestions for you!

Are you close to a Micro Center? If you need just the PC and nothing else like monitors or peripherals, that could help focus your search!

I actually live about 45 minutes from one and just need the PC, sorry I didn’t specify that!

It's awesome that you want to build a PC! Check out the sidebar for tons of resources including guides on parts and installation. I’d recommend visiting pcpartpicker.com; it helps you compare prices and check compatibility. Here's a starter build you might like: [this link](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/s8j8K7). Feel free to customize it as needed to suit your style and budget! If you're near a Micro Center, that’s a plus!
