Hey everyone! I've always been a console player and now I'm ready to dive into building my first PC. I'll mainly use it for coding and some gaming, and I might even try my hand at indie game development. I've created a potential build but I'm wondering if it's a solid choice. Here's my build from PCPartPicker: **Intel Core i7-14700K**, **ARCTIC Liquid Freezer III 360**, **MSI MAG Z790 TOMAHAWK MAX**, **Patriot Viper Venom 64 GB DDR5**, **WD Black 2 TB SSD**, **Inno3D GeForce RTX 5090**, **Corsair 4000D Case**, and **Corsair RM1000x Power Supply**. Total comes to about **$1616.78**. Is there anything I should change?

Honestly, you don’t need to go all flashy with the cooler. A regular one should suffice. I’d also recommend picking a **4070 Super** instead of a 50 series GPU; they tend to have glitches. And for RAM, maybe consider going with 4x8GB instead of 2x32GB—it generally provides better performance! As a first-time builder, you could also look at pre-built options that let you upgrade later. It’s usually more cost-effective and will give you room to learn about replacement parts.

What cooler would you suggest? Some Noctua options are pricey. I’m hoping to use parts long-term. About the RAM, I’ve heard different views. Will going with four slots really affect speed negatively?
