I'm the IT Director at my company, and our HR director is trying to find a replacement for our current HRIS, Paylocity, which has been pretty problematic. We're looking for recommendations on better systems that have solid APIs and won't break the bank. Any suggestions?

Honestly, I think it's important for the HR team to take the lead in this decision. It's their tool after all, so they should ensure it meets their needs. From what I've heard, definitely steer clear of UKG. It's pretty complicated and your HR person might end up over-relying on IT for help.
