I'm transitioning all my domains from Freeparking to Crazydomains, but I'm really dissatisfied with their service. I've been considering moving everything to domainz.co.nz. Before I make that jump, does anyone have experiences or warnings about using domainz that I should know about?

I can vouch for metaname, too. We've got hundreds of domains managed by them, and they've been great with support—always responsive! Definitely consider making the switch.
I had a bad experience with domainz years ago, but I’ve heard that their customer service has improved now. If you want alternatives, I recommend checking out metaname.co.nz. My employer uses AWS to manage domains and they’re satisfied with 1stdomains, which could be a good option for consolidated services since they're owned by Voyager.
I’m seeing a lot of mentions for metaname; maybe I should go that route instead. Thanks for the heads up!
Domainz wasn't great when I used them, but I’ve heard several positive things about metaname lately as well. Pairing them with Cloudflare DNS could really streamline your setup!
I've never used domainz before, but as a fellow Kiwi, I switched my domains to Porkbun recently and have had no complaints. If you're okay with using a registrar that's not based in New Zealand, they're worth considering!
From what I've heard, domainz is basically just a rebranding of Netregistry, which has had a pretty shady reputation when it comes to customer service. I'm using VentraIP for my domains, and they also handle .nz domains. I recommend checking them out; they seem reliable!
Sounds good! I’ve heard about VentraIP, too, and people seem positive about it.
Their website's terrible, though. It's hard to renew anything without dealing with support. That's what's pushing me away from VentraIP.

Thanks! I'm leaning towards metaname based on your recommendation.
