Looking for KVM Switch Recommendations for Gaming and Work

Hey everyone! I work from home and also have a gaming PC, but swapping cables constantly is really frustrating. I'm searching for a KVM switch that can maintain a high refresh rate during gaming. I'm pretty new to KVM switches, so any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I've used one of their switches and it's been flawless for me. I can switch between my work computer and gaming rig multiple times a day without issues, even with G-Sync enabled.

Check out Level1Tech's KVM switches. A lot of folks rave about them after getting frustrated with cheaper options from places like Amazon. They might be a bit pricier, but they deliver great performance for both gaming and work.

If your work PC isn’t locked down from remote access, you could simply remote into it from your gaming PC. It eliminates the need for a KVM completely and it won’t cost you anything!

I went a simpler route with a KM switch instead of a full KVM. I use my monitor's input selector to switch video, which works great and saves money—just an extra button push!

Honestly, I had a tough time getting high-end KVMs to work as expected, so I settled for a USB switch for my mouse and keyboard. It’s a bit of extra manual work, but it keeps costs down and avoids all the KVM quirks.
