I'm finally putting together a new PC since my current setup with a 3600XT and RX 590 is starting to feel slow. I'm specifically looking for suggestions on an mATX motherboard for my AMD 9800X3D. I've heard that ASRock boards have had issues killing the 9800X3D, so I'd like to steer clear of those. Here's a link to my current build on PCPartPicker: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/8dg9mC. I'm open to any other suggestions related to my build, and I also want to know if the Peerless Assassin 140 cooler will fit the case; if not, I can settle for the 120 instead.

Consider the MSI X670E Edge Ti if you're looking for something with PCIe 5 support for future GPUs. I have an updated ASRock X670E Nova, and even though I haven’t had issues, I'd still be cautious. Just make sure to check if the size fits your case. You could also go with a B650 for a more budget-friendly option.
For your 9800X3D, I recommend checking out Gigabyte or MSI motherboards. The X670 chipset would be your best bet right now. I've got the X670 Aorus Elite, and it's been solid so far, power-wise and performance-wise.
I'd suggest the Asus ROG STRIX B650E-F GAMING WIFI motherboard. It's got great VRM thermals, supports PCIe 5, and is around $203. Though just a heads up, it might not be mATX since you mentioned you needed that.
I had a Gigabyte motherboard with my last setup, and honestly, I wouldn't recommend it again. Been way happier with ASRock and MSI in the past.
