I'm on the hunt for some decent speakers for my PC but honestly, it's pretty overwhelming to sift through all the options online. I'm seeking a recommendation that points me in the right direction. Ideally, I'd like something compact and with great sound quality without breaking the bank. If anyone has suggestions for speakers that are simple, effective, and affordable, I would really appreciate it! Thank you!

If you're really looking for budget options, I'd suggest checking out Creative Labs. I still use my Gigaworks T220 series from 2011, and they work great! Just make sure to look for speakers with neodymium if you want to keep costs low.
I have a pair of Edifier M60s. They're not super small but fit my desk nicely, and at around $160, they offer incredible sound and build quality. Definitely a great deal!
I was gifted a Creative 5.1 speaker setup about a decade ago, and it still sounds amazing! My brother recently got a SONY HT-S400 soundbar—it's a bit too powerful for a small room but connects easily with various inputs, just a thought if you want to splurge a bit.
I recently saw an Onn soundbar at Walmart that seemed decent and it’s pretty compact! Could be a good fit for your space.
Any 2.1 speaker system is usually a solid choice. If you're up for spending a bit more, check out brands like Logitech or Creative—they tend to have good options.
For what it’s worth, Klipsch 2.1 speakers are my go-to. I've owned them twice now and can vouch for their quality.
